The Aeon Dynamics A2 Pro is a full-size, human-scale bipedal platform built for people who expect their robot to actually work. Fifty-four torque-controlled joints give it a natural, compliant gait and the reach to operate in spaces designed for humans: counters, shelves, door handles and stairs. Dual RGB-D cameras in the head and chest fuse with a 1kHz IMU pipeline for confident navigation in cluttered, changing environments. A hot-swappable 1.2 kWh battery keeps the A2 Pro moving for around four hours of mixed walking and manipulation, and the included dock brings a depleted pack back to full in ninety minutes. The onboard HexaCore HX-Orin module delivers 275 TOPS of edge AI compute, enough for on-device perception, speech and skill execution without a cloud dependency. For developers, the A2 Pro is fully open: ROS 2 SDK, Python and C++ APIs, a simulation twin, and a documented safety layer. For everyone else, it simply gets things done, right out of the crate.
