The TG-5D is the dexterous hand that turned TactiGrip into the default upgrade for serious manipulation work. Five fingers with sixteen active degrees of freedom reproduce the grasps that matter: precision pinch, tripod, power wrap and lateral key, with per-finger compliance that forgives imperfect grasp planning. A 312-taxel tactile array across the fingertips and palm streams contact data at 500 Hz, enabling slip detection, gentle handling of eggs and glassware, and in-hand reorientation. The standardized quick-mount flange with pass-through power and EtherCAT means installation on Aeon, Kinetiq and NovaForm wrists takes under ten minutes with the included adapter set.
